Designed objective-based work plan to develop equipment, software and assay for detecting anthrax; leading a team of engineers and biologists.

Research Assistant, Irwin Memorial Blood Bank (1999-2000)
Performed radio-labeled probe and real-time quantitative PCR to detect viruses and bacteria in saliva and blood.

Designed thin-layer chromatography assays for quality control and active ingredient concentration of natural products such as hypericin in St. John’s Wort.
