President/Executive Director's Evaluation - Spring 2008

Each year, the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii (JCCH) Board of Directors evaluates the performance of its Executive Director/President.
We have the opportunity to solicit feedback from multiple JCCH constituencies through this online survey.

What follows is a job description for Lenny Andrew, the President and Executive Director of JCCH. The survey asks you to rate his performance in each category using a five-point scale.

Please choose the appropriate number rating based on your experiences and observations of the President/Executive Director during the past 12 months. To do this, simply click on the appropriate number on the number bar line for each job task.

If you feel you are not able to accurately make an assessment of the President/Executive Director’s performance in a given category or job task, choose “NA” (Not Applicable).

Manage all business operations of the Center in a manner consistent with the promotion and achievement of its mission

Be responsible for the operational and financial performance of the Center, including the development of fiscal controls. Ensure that appropriate performance measures to monitor and evaluate the Center's operational and financial performance are developed and employed.

Oversee and manage all vendor relationships and monitor compliance with the terms and conditions of all vendor contracts.

Oversee the development of a technology plan to enhance the Center's technological capabilities, including, but not limited to development of an enhanced website to be utilized as a robust and multifaceted tool for communication, productivity, outreach, and achievement of the business and programmatic goals of the Center.

Oversee the preparation of timely submission of filings with regulatory agencies and taxing authorities. Ensure compliance with all legal requirements to maintain in good standing the Center's tax exempt status as a 501 (c) (3) organization.

Be responsible for keeping the Board of Directors informed regarding the condition of the Center and those factors that may materially affect the Center.
