This is your web site. It is a dynamic site that will change from month to month as you discover new information about yourself, high school, college and other career opportunities after high school.

Choosing a career goal early in high school will make high school more rewarding and help prepare you for a successful life after you leave. Each of the roadmap features will help you do this. The KUDER will help you set goals and the ROADMAP will help you get there with the help of your parents, teachers and counselors.

Success can be found in many different careers to include being a homemaker. Whatever you choose, your education in high school and what you do with your time at Farrington High School and after will be critical to your success and happiness. Start building your successful future now!

Check in on this page at least once a month. It will be updated to tell you what roadmap activities that will be taking place that you should be aware of. The monthly calendar will also be posted in many of your classrooms. Good luck and don’t take to many detours.

  • 1st- 19th            Running Start Registration for the fall semester at HCC continues
  • Juniors and seniors, see your Running Start counselor for more information.
  • 31st            Research Scholarship Workshop
  • Learn the basics on how, why and when you should start your scholarship search.

Your College Connection:

  • A college counselor will be available to answer your questions about college and other career alternatives and allow you to sign up for different activities.  Every Wednesday at the school cafeteria.

Suggestions

  • This is a good time to check on Farrington clubs and academies.  Get involved!
  • THE ROADMAP is just that. It will tell you appropriate activities for you to be working on during each year in high school. Follow the activities that make most sense to you and make your own roadmap to success.
