What you do in high school counts !
The Roadmap is designed to identify activities that you can take part in that will improve your chances of success once you leave high school and move on to college, business, the military or an apprenticeship program. Start by taking three assessment tests [about an hour] that will help you identify your interest and abilities and give you an idea what career pathways you may want to explore.
Click on the grade you are currently in. The activities that appear will have icons after them. These tell you what activities that are most appropriate for your career goal after high school. Check these out first and work on them. Feel free to look at any other activity as well since your goals may change as you progress through high school. You will be using the Kuder Career Planning System for some of these activities.
After you click on an activity, you will see a short explanation of the activity. Click on “hear and learn more” if you want more details or click on the return button to go back to the activities page.
