Human
Services Club
The Human Services Club is a
Honolulu Community College
(HCC) student club for human services majors.
Club membership, however, is open to any HCC student.
The general purpose of the
Human Services Club is to:
- create
a sense of community among human services students and faculty through
social and recreational gatherings;
- offer
human services students the opportunity for professional development
through the interface with professional practitioners and educators in
the human services and social work community through workshops and
seminars;
- provide
human services student the opportunity participate in service projects
which benefit the greater community through organized activities; and
- enhance
the educational experience of human services student by providing
voluntary peer academic support and assistance
