My 'ohana comes from Waipi'o and Waimea on Hawai'i island, but I've been hanging out on O'ahu since high school. While at UH Manoa I got involved with the Polynesian Voyaging Society and since then I've had the privilege to participate in a few of Hokule'a's voyages. I'm excited to be able to share voyaging with students at Honolulu Community College through our Ho'okele courses.
