Even though I've lived in Hawaii for fifteen years, I grew up in North Carolina, so I talk funny. I want my students to care about their writing and also their thinking. I like to eat grilled cheese sandwiches. My hobbies are arm wrestling and debating. Finally, I have a great job, although precious little remains of my wits.
